Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead development of dynamic and agentic customer interface components using Vue and Preact.
- Design Java services that orchestrate data pipelines and integrate agentic workflows for tool use, chain execution, and state synchronization.
- Architect security and policy enforcement layers for agentic workflows to protect financial data and prevent unsafe operations.
- Build evaluation frameworks, latency-optimized streaming, and observability layers for reliable production AI features.
- Set engineering standards, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote reproducibility, documentation, and rigorous evaluation.
- Partner with Product Management to translate merchant workflows into technical solutions.
- Own production code, monitor performance, minimize streaming latency, maintain security compliance, and lead root-cause analysis for incidents.
- Align global and remote engineering teams on technical decisions through documentation-first communication.
Requirements
- At least seven years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Currently operating as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent, with a record of owning complex distributed web applications.
- Deep proficiency in Java for high-concurrency backend services and architectural competence integrating agentic workflows using Python.
- Experience with Vue or Preact for complex, stateful web applications.
- Hands-on experience or strong architectural competence with production-grade agentic AI integrations, policy layers, evaluation frameworks, RAG architectures, and deterministic execution boundaries.
- Security-by-design experience handling sensitive financial data, user authorization, and zero-trust access in web environments.
- Ability to drive cross-team technical alignment, mentor engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and collaborate across global engineering hubs.
- Experience with monorepo environments and complex dependency chains across large-scale distributed systems is preferred.
