Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure and Python automation for NetSuite’s global OCI network.
- Design and deliver network capabilities supporting new products, features, and customer growth.
- Improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and validation for safer and more repeatable network changes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, contribute to incident response, and implement lasting improvements.
- Coordinate projects across Network, Security, SRE, and product engineering teams.
- Support cloud network security across multiple defense layers with internal and external partners.
- Mentor developers, run learning workshops, and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and independently own network projects from requirements through deployment and operation.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and maintaining production software.
- Strong Terraform and Python skills.
- Experience with automated testing, code review, version control, and CI/CD.
- Cloud networking experience and willingness to deepen network technology expertise.
- A security-conscious approach to software and infrastructure development.
- Ability to resolve ambiguous problems, explain technical trade-offs, make decisions, and deliver independently.
- Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Preferred experience with troubleshooting network issues, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, or TLS.
- Preferred experience with OCI or another major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience operating infrastructure at global scale.
- Preferred experience with CDNs, web application firewalls, DDoS protection, bot management, and managing these services through APIs or infrastructure as code.
- Substantial relevant experience in software development, infrastructure automation, or network engineering; applicants from varied educational and career backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
