Senior Associate, Software Engineer – Data Platform & AI Applications

Base Salary
$125k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade SQL data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Snowflake, and Python
- Develop orchestration workflows and data ingestion processes, including API integrations
- Build LLM applications, RAG architectures, Custom GPTs, and agent systems
- Integrate proprietary firm data securely into AI workflows and translate experimentation into production-grade tools
- Support AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, ECS, EKS, and S3
- Containerize services with Docker and manage workloads in Kubernetes
- Establish observability, logging, and monitoring standards
- Develop Python tools for integrations, data transformations, internal applications, and automation
- Partner with Investment, Client Advisory, Operations, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture
- Own project delivery and provide executive-ready summaries of platform and AI initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure
- Experience developing AI applications using LLM APIs and RAG pipelines
- AWS experience, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Advanced Python proficiency
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps best practices
- Strong written and executive communication skills
- Experience in wealth management, asset management, or fintech
- Salesforce data integration experience is preferred
- Experience designing secure AI architectures is preferred
- Experience mentoring junior engineers is preferred
