Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable software.
- Own technical designs, communicate tradeoffs, and guide technical direction.
- Review, test, and approve code for quality and consistency.
- Partner with engineers on technical approaches and development plans.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers without formal authority.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems.
- Improve team practices, tools, and processes.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
- At least three years of related work experience.
- Strong experience in at least one area: backend systems, mobile development, or web development.
- Experience contributing to production systems and team success.
- High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to own technical decisions, explain complex concepts clearly, and guide other engineers.
