Responsibilities
- Develop analytical and machine learning solutions, including predictive models, data analysis, proofs of concept, and production-ready code.
- Build and support machine learning pipelines covering data ingestion, transformation, model training, testing, and application delivery.
- Automate analytical procedures and improve workflows to reduce operational effort and accelerate time-to-market.
- Apply software engineering practices such as code reviews, technical documentation, and compliance with Experian standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, partners, clients, and project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain current expertise in software development, analytics, data assets, tools, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of technical experience in software development.
- Ability to write production-level code in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python or C++.
- Experience with data and backend systems, including large datasets, REST APIs, and modern data processing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, graph databases, or time-series databases.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar tools.
- Exposure to machine learning and NLP concepts, including work with unstructured data.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and clients.
