Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, and document software applications, features, integrations, and reusable components under experienced guidance.
- Translate business and process needs into technology solutions in collaboration with developers, business analysts, product owners, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in application design discussions, code reviews, testing, implementation activities, and team delivery practices.
- Support automation and modernization initiatives that improve workflow efficiency, controls, and process visibility.
- Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, root-cause analysis, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Learn and apply secure coding, version control, DevSecOps, testing, resiliency, change-readiness, and production-support practices.
- Research and experiment with emerging technologies, development tools, AI-enabled engineering practices, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date is May 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Foundational understanding of programming, software development concepts, data structures, databases, web technologies, or application design through coursework, projects, or hands-on experience.
- Preferred experience includes coursework, projects, internships, student organizations, volunteer work, or leadership involving software development, application delivery, data analysis, automation, testing, or technology-enabled process improvement.
- Preferred exposure to Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Spring Boot, .NET, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Preferred familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, APIs, cloud platforms, DevSecOps concepts, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, collaboration, analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
