Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C++ and Rust.
- Write software that interacts with microcontrollers.
- Design and develop secure software for satellite systems.
- Design, integrate, test, and improve low-level embedded software, including device drivers and Linux kernel modules.
- Port existing software to new embedded systems and contribute to other low-level programming activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees under applicable export control requirements.
