Base Salary

$130k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with hospital IT and supply chain teams to understand source systems, data structures, and integration requirements.
  • Design, build, and own production data pipelines that ingest and transform data from customer ERP, supply chain, and operational systems.
  • Troubleshoot live integration failures involving schema mismatches, authentication issues, and upstream data quality problems.
  • Build reusable connectors and integration patterns to reduce onboarding time for future customers.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to turn customer learnings into platform improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and runbooks and communicate integration status, risks, and timelines to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills with the ability to write production code.
  • Hands-on experience building and operating production data pipelines or system integrations.
  • Experience working directly with external customers or stakeholders and leading technical discovery conversations.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SFTP, or similar data exchange patterns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred experience with HL7, FHIR, EHR or ERP systems such as Epic, Cerner, Workday, Oracle, or Infor.
  • Preferred familiarity with healthcare supply chain or hospital operations and experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Working knowledge of AWS or an equivalent cloud platform; Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake are nice to have.
