Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and maintenance of Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with team members.
- Design, code, test, and debug software components under guidance from senior developers.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on project deliverables.
- Learn and apply industry best practices and internal standards.
- Support system integration and configuration tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Some experience or coursework with Guidewire, Java, or GOSU programming is preferred.
- Interest in learning Guidewire PolicyCenter and insurance technologies.
- Understanding of software development basics.
- Good problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and willingness-to-learn skills.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as GUnit or Selenium is a plus but not required.
- Guidewire certification or training is a bonus.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the Coppell, Texas office.
