Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure supporting AI capabilities.
- Translate high-level stakeholder and mission goals into engineering outcomes and platform solutions.
- Define structured solutions for ambiguous problem spaces.
- Mentor engineers and develop engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance.
- Establish and enforce infrastructure security, certificate management, identity management, and cloud-native security practices.
- Support cloud-native architecture and maintain production software and infrastructure.
- Balance hands-on engineering with leadership, coordination, stakeholder management, and communication responsibilities.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required, with an additional four years of experience accepted as a substitute.
- At least 12 years of software development experience is required.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, Terraform, IAM, and Route 53.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm or Kustomize, Docker/containerization, and Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience configuring observability tooling such as the Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Experience with certificate management, cloud-native security practices, cloud-native architecture, and production software and infrastructure.
- Strong ability to translate high-level mission goals into engineering outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
