$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and end-to-end architecture for a major capability area such as agent-initiated settlement, edge AI financial agents, or verifiable trust.
- Lead technical design and position engineering work as a credible contribution to industry standards and protocols.
- Anticipate cross-system risks across portfolio dependencies and foundational capabilities.
- Partner with engineering, domain, and compliance stakeholders to turn technical proof points into scalable product paths.
- Champion strategic investment in frontier technologies and shape broader technical direction.
- Mentor engineers and drive alignment and outcomes across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing software for large-scale business environments.
- 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ownership of a complex technical domain and a track record of setting direction for others.
- Experience with agent-driven development, agentic observability, and autonomous code navigation and modification.
- Deep expertise in payments and settlement, edge AI, or identity and trust systems.
- Fluency in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.
- Fluency operating Kubernetes-based runtimes such as AWS EKS, including service topology, scaling, and deployment patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include participation in open standards or protocol working groups, experience taking capabilities through compliance or legal review to beta or sandbox release, and hands-on edge AI or on-device deployment experience.
