Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality software solutions and production code.
  • Develop and maintain algorithms and scalable systems and services, including web services and APIs.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
  • Apply secure handling, data sensitivity, resiliency, and security practices when using AI in engineering workflows.
  • Contribute to team practices by sharing safe and effective AI-assisted engineering patterns.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Professional software development experience with emphasis on ML systems.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Experience designing and developing scalable systems and services.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one public cloud platform such as AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding of system design fundamentals, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Cassandra or an equivalent NoSQL database.
  • Preferred: Java or C++ experience; Kubernetes GPU workload deployment or operations; ML model-serving frameworks; distributed training and inference; model compression; edge deployment; API management; Domain-Driven Design; and Agile development experience.
