Responsibilities
- Own comprehensive solution architecture from conception to implementation.
- Build and nurture relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Partner and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project success.
- Serve as the technical authority on Instacart's platform and APIs.
- Develop tools and processes to improve solution delivery.
- Design and implement integration strategies between systems.
- Analyze technical challenges to create scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Software Engineer.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive results in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with code/scripting/automation or data engineering, primarily SQL.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with Technical Project Managers.
- Experience designing and implementing API and integration solutions.
- Experience in client-facing or consulting roles with enterprise customers.
- Proven track record of solving complex business challenges.
