Base Salary
$140k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production mobile application features using React Native.
- Partner with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver well-architected features.
- Write maintainable and testable JavaScript and TypeScript code for scalable iOS and Android applications.
- Lead code reviews, establish technical standards, and share knowledge across the engineering team.
- Diagnose and resolve complex bugs and mobile performance issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.
- Evaluate React Native advancements and mobile development trends to improve the platform.
Requirements
- 6+ years of mobile application development experience focused on React Native, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including Redux or MobX experience.
- Experience building and maintaining complex, production-grade React Native applications across iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, and test-driven development practices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Preferred familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous programming patterns, Node.js, mobile CI/CD, automated deployment, and mobile performance optimization.
