Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement performant and scalable software solutions.
- Define architectural patterns and service-led architectures using Java or Kotlin.
- Build intuitive user interfaces with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Conceptualize and implement AI-powered tools and features involving machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
- Develop greenfield components and integrate or re-engineer existing solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, assist with hiring, and help build the team’s technical capabilities.
- Apply front-office technology and CRM expertise to support investment banking and corporate banking sales workflows.
- Promote Deutsche Bank’s engineering principles, standards, and secure software development practices.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience delivering complex software engineering solutions in dynamic environments.
- Experience with front-office technology within an investment bank and understanding of sales workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable service-led architectures.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
- Strong experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with AI software development toolkits and contributions to AI or machine learning projects.
- Experience with both greenfield development and strategic refactoring or re-engineering of existing systems.
- Ability to provide technical mentorship and support team growth.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Knowledge of at least one CRM platform, such as Salesforce or Dynamics, and experience collaborating with sales professionals is highly desirable.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and solve business problems while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
