Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and evaluate multimodal foundation models for multi-robot missions.
- Drive model development decisions informed by rigorous experimentation.
- Curate and generate large-scale training datasets from synthetic and real-world data.
- Develop memory, communication, planning, and tool-use capabilities for AI agents.
- Design benchmarks, metrics, and testing methodologies for rapid iteration.
- Build and improve simulation environments for data generation and evaluation.
- Translate research into deployable real-time perception and decision-making systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, robotics, and mission teams for system integration.
- Conduct field trials to validate system performance under real-world constraints.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and deploying AI models, with 2+ years in multimodal models.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern machine learning infrastructure.
- Experience with training and evaluating large-scale deep learning models.
- Solid grasp of modern model training techniques including SFT, DPO, RLVR.
- Ability to transition research from prototype to product in fast-paced environments.
- BS, MS, or PhD in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: Experience with closed-loop simulation or reinforcement learning environments.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information.
