Base Salary
$162k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build maintainable web-based user interfaces with a strong user experience.
- Own feature development across front-end applications, microservices, and relational database structures.
- Design and develop components of the microservices ecosystem supporting direct-indexing equity portfolio construction tools.
- Build, release, and deploy software components to a Kubernetes cluster.
- Modernize existing platform components and evaluate contemporary technologies and enterprise third-party components.
- Lead projects and initiatives, mentor junior team members, and participate in recruiting efforts.
- Collaborate with technology, project management, business teams, and end users to identify needs and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, programming paradigms, and programming fundamentals.
- Advanced web development knowledge across front-end and back-end ecosystems.
- Seasoned TypeScript and Python experience, with Java, Scala, or related modern object-oriented language experience considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and integration across distributed software ecosystems.
- Five-plus years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience leading projects and teams.
- Experience working in an AWS ecosystem.
- Familiarity with relational databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various business departments in an interdisciplinary environment.
