Base Salary
$141k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the native platform architecture for next-generation Axon Fusus hardware from vendor and SoC selection through production deployment
- Set SDK strategy, including ABI contracts, versioning guarantees, and FFI boundaries
- Design and ship cascade AI pipelines at the edge across NPU, GPU, and VPU resources
- Build high-performance pipelines from sensors to inference for embedded and IoT devices
- Set technical direction and lead code and technical design reviews
- Establish AI coding standards and influence architecture at the boundary of hardware, media, and AI
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience designing and building latency-critical systems for embedded and IoT devices
- Experience designing SDKs with stable ABIs, versioning strategies, and cross-language FFI
- Familiarity with ARM SoCs including RK3588, Jetson, and QCS series beyond x86 embedded systems
- Ability to write well-tested, maintainable code and lead code and technical design reviews
- Experience with hardware-accelerated video pipelines is a plus
- Hands-on edge inference experience using NPUs or GPUs, including TensorRT, CUDA, ONNX Runtime, or similar, is a plus
