Base Salary
$164k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design and delivery of low-level emulation and virtualization software for high-performance ECU simulation.
- Architect and optimize CPU, GPU, and NPU simulation, emulation, and virtualization technologies.
- Deliver production-grade simulation components aligned with product definitions, customer specifications, and vehicle platform requirements.
- Design and implement high-performance Linux guest drivers and libraries for CPU, GPU, NPU, and peripheral components.
- Partner with application, systems, validation, and integration teams to develop robust automotive simulation solutions.
- Drive high-quality, on-time software delivery while improving testing strategies, requirements traceability, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience building complex, high-performance software systems, preferably in embedded systems, virtualization, or large-scale simulation.
- 3+ years of deep QEMU or similar simulation, emulation, or virtualization software development experience on Linux.
- Strong knowledge of CPU, GPU, and NPU architectures, modern SoC designs, software stacks, virtualization extensions, and performance optimization.
- Mastery of Linux kernel internals, embedded or real-time operating systems, and low-level driver development.
- Experience with ARM platform bring-up and bare-metal or low-level software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Ability to deliver production-grade code, technical documentation, and software on aggressive timelines.
- Preferred experience with QEMU simulator architecture, Linux hypervisors, virtualized driver stacks, VMware, VirtualBox, Xen, automotive platforms, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, vehicle virtualization frameworks, cloud computing, databases, and large-scale simulation or validation pipelines.
