Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for RF communication systems.
  • Write code in C, C++, and Java.
  • Support the full software development lifecycle and work within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Develop and implement test procedures for new and updated systems.
  • Support hardware/software integration and FPGA development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.
  • Maintain design documents, test plans, configuration guides, and other technical documentation.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the project team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with 14 or more years of experience; alternative qualifications include a master's degree with 12 or more years, or a PhD or JD with 9 or more years.
  • Four additional years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++.
  • RF engineering background, DoD program experience, RTOS experience such as VxWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are desired.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and strong communication and problem-solving skills are required or preferred; CSM certification is a plus.
