Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for RF communication systems.
- Write code in C, C++, and Java.
- Support the full software development lifecycle and work within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Develop and implement test procedures for new and updated systems.
- Support hardware/software integration and FPGA development.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.
- Maintain design documents, test plans, configuration guides, and other technical documentation.
- Serve as the primary interface between the project team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with 14 or more years of experience; alternative qualifications include a master's degree with 12 or more years, or a PhD or JD with 9 or more years.
- Four additional years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++.
- RF engineering background, DoD program experience, RTOS experience such as VxWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are desired.
- Agile/Scrum experience and strong communication and problem-solving skills are required or preferred; CSM certification is a plus.
