Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead infrastructure delivery from discovery through production rollout and make architecture and platform decisions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Configure secure cluster operations, secrets management, identity and access management, and platform hardening.
- Analyze existing infrastructure, identify optimization opportunities, troubleshoot production environments, and perform root cause analysis.
- Prepare technical proposals, implementation plans, estimates, and delivery roadmaps.
- Collaborate directly with customers, vendors, and external stakeholders in technical workshops and solution discussions.
- Support compliance and operational readiness requirements for government environments.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices with ArgoCD or similar tools.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with experience in CI/CD automation and software delivery pipelines.
- Knowledge of secrets management, identity and access management, infrastructure security, CIS benchmarks, and platform hardening.
- Experience with production enterprise infrastructure and direct customer or stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, lead initiatives, and solve problems in ambiguous environments.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Preferred experience with OKD or OpenShift, Ceph, Helm, air-gapped or restricted environments, vSphere, external hosting providers, government or eGov systems, registry-based systems, and public sector compliance requirements.
