Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software programming experience with Java or Kotlin.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience building and maintaining complex Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
- Preferred: experience with Android hardware integration, including NFC, secure elements, smartcards, or trusted execution environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with Android cross-process communication and system-level services such as Google Mobile Services core.
- Preferred: experience driving technical initiatives, leading system designs, and collaborating with cross-functional partners or external OEMs.
- Preferred: ability to design client architectures with complex state management, including MVVM and coroutines.
