Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of software programming experience with Java or Kotlin.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Preferred: experience building and maintaining complex Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
  • Preferred: experience with Android hardware integration, including NFC, secure elements, smartcards, or trusted execution environments.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Android cross-process communication and system-level services such as Google Mobile Services core.
  • Preferred: experience driving technical initiatives, leading system designs, and collaborating with cross-functional partners or external OEMs.
  • Preferred: ability to design client architectures with complex state management, including MVVM and coroutines.
