Responsibilities

  • Build and own the core data annotation and workflow platform from expert interfaces and task assignment through quality control and dataset delivery.
  • Design systems for expert onboarding, task routing, review workflows, and quality assurance at scale.
  • Build AI-integrated pipelines including LLM-assisted annotation, automated checking, and model-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Partner with founders and domain operators to convert manual processes into reliable, scalable software.
  • Make product and engineering decisions, scope and prioritize work, and ship in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
  • Help define tooling choices, engineering standards, and product direction as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to identify what needs building, make decisions under ambiguity, and ship without complete specifications.
  • Comfort moving across product engineering, infrastructure, data systems, and AI tooling while owning problems end to end.
  • Current practical use of LLMs and coding agents in software development.
  • Familiarity with modern product stacks such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with internal tools, annotation platforms, workflow software, operations-heavy products, AI products, LLM tooling, or evaluation workflows is desirable.
  • Interest in finance, healthcare, or legal domains and previous early-stage or founding-engineer experience are desirable.
