Base Salary
$53k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software and breakthrough solutions for complex customer challenges as part of a collaborative internship team.
- Conduct research and write software using applicable programming, machine learning, data mining, statistical, or graph-algorithm techniques.
- Produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Work independently and collaboratively with teammates and senior mentors.
- Present the team’s final solution to senior leadership in the Challenge Cup competition.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more of Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Academic or internship experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills are preferred.
