Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML models for cybersecurity use cases including anomaly detection, threat prediction, and behavioral analytics.
- Leverage and extend embedded AI capabilities in SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, firewall, DLP, and other security platforms.
- Develop predictive threat prevention, automated blocking, adaptive controls, risk-based access enforcement, and AI-driven detection capabilities.
- Defend against automated attacks, deepfake-based fraud, adversarial AI, model evasion, poisoning, and model bypass techniques.
- Integrate AI capabilities with security platforms and develop intelligent automation workflows for real-time protection and response.
- Perform data engineering and feature engineering for model training and analytics.
- Continuously improve models through feedback loops, adversarial testing, threat intelligence, tuning, correlation, and enrichment.
- Collaborate with SOC, perimeter security, threat intelligence, data engineering, risk, compliance, platform, and vendor teams.
- Ensure AI governance, explainability, responsible use, documentation, playbooks, and performance metrics.
- Act as a thought leader, mentor teams, drive innovation, and evaluate emerging AI-enabled security solutions.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong exposure to AI/ML applications.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong Python programming, data engineering, and model development skills.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, and modern security platforms with embedded AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of anomaly detection, classification, clustering, NLP, predictive security models, and preventive security controls.
- Strong understanding of network, endpoint, identity, and perimeter security domains.
- Familiarity with UEBA and behavioral analytics tools.
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Understanding of adversarial AI risks and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with automation frameworks, APIs, and platform integrations.
- Ability to collaborate across cybersecurity, engineering, SOC, threat intelligence, data engineering, risk, and compliance teams.
