Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML models for anomaly detection, threat prediction, behavioral analytics, and other cybersecurity use cases.
- Leverage and extend embedded AI capabilities in SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, firewalls, DLP, and other security platforms.
- Drive proactive threat prevention using predictive analytics, attack-pattern analysis, early-signal detection, and adversary behavior analysis.
- Build automated blocking, adaptive controls, risk-based access enforcement, and other AI-driven protection mechanisms.
- Defend against AI-driven threats such as automated attacks, deepfake-based fraud, adversarial AI, and model evasion.
- Improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives through model tuning, correlation, and intelligent enrichment.
- Integrate AI capabilities with security platforms and develop automation workflows that improve response time and enable self-healing security operations.
- Perform data engineering and feature engineering for model training and analytics.
- Continuously enhance models using feedback loops, adversarial testing, and threat intelligence inputs.
- Ensure AI governance, explainability, responsible use, and documentation of models, integrations, playbooks, and performance metrics.
- Mentor teams, evaluate emerging AI threats and defensive strategies, and collaborate with SOC, perimeter security, threat intelligence, data engineering, risk, compliance, platform owners, and vendors.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong exposure to AI/ML applications.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong Python programming, data engineering, and model development skills.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, and modern security platforms with embedded AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of anomaly detection, classification, clustering, NLP, predictive security models, and preventive security controls.
- Strong understanding of network, endpoint, identity, and perimeter security domains.
- Familiarity with UEBA and behavioral analytics tools.
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Understanding of adversarial AI risks including evasion, poisoning, and model bypass, along with mitigation techniques.
- Experience with automation frameworks, APIs, and platform integrations.
- Ability to provide technical thought leadership, drive innovation, demonstrate ownership, and mentor teams on AI/ML adoption in cybersecurity.
