Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using .NET and React.
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and provision infrastructure with Terraform.
- Troubleshoot production issues across application and cloud infrastructure layers.
- Contribute to architecture, design reviews, technical decisions, secure coding, and maintainable production code.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve release reliability, performance, resiliency, and observability.
- Lead responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools, including validation of outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Coach engineers on safe, compliant AI-assisted development practices and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and security teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on full-stack application development and system design experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, React, and TypeScript.
- Practical AWS experience and knowledge of cloud deployment patterns.
- Hands-on Terraform experience for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of SDLC, secure coding, agile development, CI/CD, application resiliency, and observability.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices and establishing standards for validating AI outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, and security and resiliency expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant AI-assisted delivery practices.
- Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, microservices, event-driven architecture, automated testing frameworks, CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, and enterprise-scale distributed systems.
