Base Salary
$162k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust data streaming and messaging architecture.
- Own the near-real-time data streaming platform.
- Serve as a technical liaison aligning data strategies with business goals.
- Own data ingestion, processing, and consumption across the data landscape.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, enhance data models, and refine API layers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, ML, and data stakeholders to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with real-time data systems, relational table modeling, and event-driven pipeline architecture.
- Working familiarity with SQL query construction, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Advanced proficiency coding in Python.
- Preferred bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred 3–5 years of software engineering experience, particularly with event-driven architecture or real-time data streaming.
- Interest or experience in freight and logistics and a strong foundation in data analytics and big data technologies are preferred.
