Base Salary
$148k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage data governance capabilities such as observability, data quality, and master data management across cloud environments.
- Design scalable master data management solutions, data models, match/merge rules, and multi-system integration pipelines.
- Provide guidance to engineering and ETL teams.
- Design and scale end-to-end data observability across hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud data environments.
- Collaborate with data stewards to establish data quality rules and compliance policies.
- Monitor system performance, optimize pipelines, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Diagnose and resolve network, job failure, and performance bottleneck issues while providing on-call support.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications.
- Collaborate across functional teams and business lines to support cloud-based data governance solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- Experience implementing critical systems with secure integration, Active Directory, and Azure SSO.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Extensive experience in data governance.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with data lake architectures.
- Working knowledge of Java, Shell scripting, Python, and Spark.
- Proficiency in Linux and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system failures and performance issues.
- Understanding of banking, operations, risk, and compliance with technical and regulatory fluency.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
