Base Salary

$148k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Manage data governance capabilities such as observability, data quality, and master data management across cloud environments.
  • Design scalable master data management solutions, data models, match/merge rules, and multi-system integration pipelines.
  • Provide guidance to engineering and ETL teams.
  • Design and scale end-to-end data observability across hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud data environments.
  • Collaborate with data stewards to establish data quality rules and compliance policies.
  • Monitor system performance, optimize pipelines, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve network, job failure, and performance bottleneck issues while providing on-call support.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications.
  • Collaborate across functional teams and business lines to support cloud-based data governance solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six to eight years of relevant experience.
  • Experience implementing critical systems with secure integration, Active Directory, and Azure SSO.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Extensive experience in data governance.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with data lake architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Java, Shell scripting, Python, and Spark.
  • Proficiency in Linux and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system failures and performance issues.
  • Understanding of banking, operations, risk, and compliance with technical and regulatory fluency.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
