Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure they are testable.
Develop comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and functional and integration test cases.
Execute tests, publish reports, communicate results, and track quality metrics including defect density, test coverage, and open defects.
Design and implement robust test automation approaches and develop test scripts.
Create mocks and stubs for isolated component and integration testing.
Own testing activities and configuration management.
Test APIs, microservices, mobile-native applications, and web applications.
Perform non-functional testing, including performance, security, and monitoring/alerting validation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
At least 7 years of Quality Engineering experience.
Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript focused on test automation.
Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile-native applications, and web applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and pub-sub technologies.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and cloud infrastructure, including GCP and Docker.
Experience with performance testing, security testing, and monitoring/alerting.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
Familiarity with Jira, test case management, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, and RestAssured.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
