Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software changes needed to convert mission-essential enterprise applications to cloud environments.
- Develop, test, and coordinate deployment plans for implementing software changes in cloud environments.
- Move existing systems into CMS DevOps software lifecycle management processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Convert existing systems to the CMS DevStack of technologies.
- Integrate modified capabilities into cloud environments while optimizing performance and resource utilization.
- Manage and optimize DevOps practices and automate CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 12 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working in C2S/AWS and using EC2, S3, ECS, Fargate, and related services.
- Experience with Java, Bash scripting, and Python.
- Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices and using CI/CD automation.
- In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies.
- TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of distributed systems is important but not necessarily mandatory.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or similar is preferred.
