Base Salary

$101k - $118k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document full-stack applications.
  • Create and support Fidelity Canada’s web properties across backend and frontend systems.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives and identify opportunities for system improvement and future-state design.
  • Ensure the security of related applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and scrum teams.
  • Support applications through the software development lifecycle and production release.

Requirements

  • A university degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of full-stack developer experience.
  • Working knowledge of React or Angular, Java, Spring or Spring Boot, JavaScript, HTML or HTML5, XHTML, CSS or CSS3, jQuery, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and the complete software development lifecycle through production release and support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, innovative problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently within a team.
  • Technical insight sufficient to advise, guide, challenge, and support technical decisions.
  • Current work authorization for Canada.
  • Prior investment or mutual fund experience is an asset.
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence to solve problems creatively is an asset.
