Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of new and recently launched products and a team of full-stack developers across data, APIs, and customer-facing experiences.
- Use modern AI tooling and open-source frameworks to prototype and ship features across multiple product surfaces.
- Partner with product, design, business, digital product management, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, including engineering standards, design patterns, coding practices, and operational excellence.
- Make pragmatic architecture decisions for rapidly scaling, reliable systems.
- Use programming languages, databases, container orchestration services, and AWS tools to build cloud-based solutions.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and lead cross-functional engineering efforts and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Scala.
- Preferred: experience with databases, cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, observability, distributed-system performance optimization, engineering mentorship, cross-functional technical leadership, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
