
Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack

- Deliver end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based full-stack applications.
- Use domain modeling and scalable architectural patterns to build clear, testable, secure, reliable, and evolvable software.
- Develop, review, debug, test, and support production code across multiple technologies and applications.
- Design solutions that avoid single points of failure and support zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
- Investigate and resolve issues promptly while eliminating or automating recurring remediation work.
- Drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices, including code review, refactoring, testing, release readiness, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs covering correctness, performance, secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote reuse of effective technologies, patterns, and automation.
- Continuously update systems, technologies, and engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience spanning system design, application development, testing, and operational support.
- Backend proficiency with Python, Flask, or Django and experience building microservices-based applications.
- Full-stack proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, web technologies, WebSockets, and JSON.
- Hands-on experience designing scalable applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, agile development, and automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and compliant usage controls.
- Strong understanding of application resiliency and security, along with the ability to solve technical challenges independently.
- Preferred qualifications include presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, banking experience, AWS certification, data analytics solution experience, and LLM-based implementation experience.
