Responsibilities
- Process billions of anonymized customer transaction records to generate relevant economic insights.
- Improve the efficiency of data research and automate processes.
- Develop software tools and dashboards to support economic analysis.
- Collaborate across Strategic Research, IT, and the AI Lab.
- Provide general support to the team on data and models.
- Work with economists, statisticians, and public-sector specialists on creative and autonomous projects.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in data engineering, STEM, or a comparable discipline.
- Experience with artificial intelligence and big data processing.
- Experience profiling, validating, and cleansing data.
- Thorough knowledge of Python, Spark, R, and SQL.
- Interest in statistics and/or econometrics.
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to colleagues with less IT experience.
- Knowledge of Azure ML, DevOps, and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Ability to participate in meetings in Dutch, French, and English.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
