Responsibilities
- Lead cross-team infrastructure security initiatives from design through delivery.
- Design and implement security solutions for cloud infrastructure and container platforms.
- Drive security reviews for infrastructure changes and identify risks.
- Develop secure patterns and reference implementations for engineering teams.
- Identify systemic security gaps and lead remediation efforts.
- Partner with SRE, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to integrate security.
- Mentor engineers and support their professional development.
- Contribute to the team's technical roadmap for security improvements.
Requirements
- Strong experience securing cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby).
- Deep knowledge of container security and Kubernetes hardening.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code security (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with or interest in leveraging AI for process automation.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Track record of identifying security risks and implementing mitigations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
