Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a cloud orchestration portal for infrastructure provisioning, deployment management, and resource monitoring.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API services for infrastructure capabilities such as object storage access and file transfer pipelines.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve developer and infrastructure engineering efficiency and system reliability.
- Implement observability and monitoring to support system diagnosis and health and performance analysis.
- Define, track, and report SRE metrics including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
- Apply security best practices to infrastructure systems and services.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM qualification with relevant experience.
- Software development experience, including DevOps, software development lifecycle, or Agile development experience.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Linux shell scripts, and PowerShell.
- Experience with enterprise system operations and administration.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience, including scripting and programming, is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with metrics and logging systems such as Elastic Stack and Prometheus/Grafana is preferred.
