Responsibilities
- Learn new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems.
- Design and build robust, extensible infrastructure for evolving federal, state, and agency regulations.
- Develop a deep understanding of the mortgage servicing industry and its complex workflows.
- Work with Product and Design to define effective customer experiences.
- Build quality software applications at scale and balance product and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Exceptional programming and design skills.
- Ability to build scalable software applications from scratch with a fast turnaround.
- Experience with web application development, mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex, and highly technical team environment.
- Deep curiosity and willingness to ask questions in order to learn quickly.
- Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
Benefits
- Compensation is $60 per hour plus a stipend.
- The role is based in Valon’s New York City or San Francisco offices.
