Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end tests across the product stack, from system installation to the web interface.
- Test platform installation and configuration on Linux servers, including Kubernetes with k3s and service deployments.
- Validate network, storage, and GPU configurations against defined target states and document deviations.
- Test Node.js services and REST APIs, including data flows, error cases, boundary conditions, asynchronous behavior, timing effects, and race conditions.
- Perform functional and regression testing of the web frontend and its interaction with the backend.
- Document tests comprehensively and collaborate with development and DevOps on test automation and CI integration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience testing complex software systems through system, integration, and end-to-end testing from backend to frontend.
- Confidence with Linux, shell environments, log analysis, networking fundamentals, container environments, and Kubernetes installations.
- Experience testing REST APIs and backend services, with basic familiarity with Node.js backends and asynchronous workflows, timing, and race conditions.
- Experience with functional and regression testing of frontends and basic knowledge of Angular components and services.
- Structured and reliable test documentation; initial experience with test automation and CI integration, such as Cypress or Playwright, is preferred.
- Very good German-language skills.
- Exposure to video streaming technologies such as RTSP or WebRTC, or to camera systems, is preferred.
