Base Salary
$156k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily security operations, on-call rotation, threat modeling, incident response, and development of performant detection tooling and automation.
- Develop and ship multi-year Detection and Response roadmaps, programs, and projects with appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and delivery planning.
- Research security technologies, review architectures, and understand the Twilio platform to improve defensive capabilities.
- Build systems and services that simplify complex security problems and automate manual security processes.
- Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to address threat activity and improve the Incident Response program.
- Mentor and support team members and help develop positive internal relationships.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of security engineering experience in a production cloud environment.
- Subject-matter expertise in security issues and technologies, including cloud security tooling.
- Experience designing and building AI agents and agentic workflows.
- Experience using AI for complex threat hunting and high-fidelity detections.
- Experience detecting and responding to AI threats using MITRE ATLAS or a similar framework.
- Advanced knowledge of service-oriented architectures and experience working across technology stacks on complex security initiatives.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, security automation, infrastructure as code, and AWS, GCP, or another major cloud platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
