Responsibilities
- Develop tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
- Support Fortanix teams using internally developed confidential computing tools.
- Design, develop, and implement secure, high-quality, high-performance software.
- Investigate and resolve issues spanning application, runtime, kernel, and platform layers.
- Track emerging technologies and trends in security and confidential computing.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold software quality and development standards.
- Drive adoption of tools, methodologies, and processes that improve development efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience with C, C++, or Rust.
- Strong systems programming and low-level software development skills, particularly in x86-based environments.
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel and operating-system fundamentals.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and interest in modern programming languages and abstractions, particularly Rust.
- Preferred experience with trusted execution environments or confidential computing technologies.
- Preferred knowledge of the Rust compiler, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with low-level security concepts, attack mitigations, and secure systems design.
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps.
- Open-source contributions are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
