Base Salary
$92k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, scalable, high-performing web applications using Svelte and SvelteKit.
- Build and maintain content-driven experiences using Sanity CMS and headless architecture principles.
- Implement customer-facing features in collaboration with product, UX, and architecture teams.
- Develop reusable UI components, design system integrations, and front-end frameworks.
- Integrate internal and external APIs, microservices, authentication platforms, and customer data services.
- Drive code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and scalability.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and technical decisions.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with platform and DevOps teams to support reliable automated delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of modern JavaScript application development experience.
- Strong experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST APIs, GraphQL, and Git.
- Hands-on experience with Sanity CMS, headless CMS architectures, component-based UI development, responsive web design, and client-side performance optimization.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of web accessibility, WCAG, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale consumer digital platforms, telecommunications or eCommerce, CMS migrations, Adobe Experience Manager, design systems, reusable component libraries, cloud-native architecture, and AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
