Responsibilities
- Enhance, optimize, and maintain backend services supporting AI agentic workflows.
- Build scalable FastAPI APIs with validation and asynchronous features.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and refine multi-step LangGraph agent workflows, including state management, retries, fallbacks, and execution tracing.
- Identify automation opportunities across AI applications and implement scalable solutions.
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Write maintainable Python code with unit tests using pytest or unittest.
- Design and manage MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas and integrations.
- Investigate performance issues across backend and agentic systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
- Strong Python skills, including modular and performant programming, profiling, debugging, dependency management, virtual environments, and unit testing.
- Production experience building FastAPI APIs with async/await, Pydantic models, and token-based authentication.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL schema design.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, YAML configurations, and container networking.
- Experience building LangGraph multi-step agent workflows with nodes, edges, state management, context propagation, retries, and fallbacks.
- Preferred qualifications include microservices experience, exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and experience with LLM-based or AI automation products.
