Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Plan, design, execute, and report manual testing activities across fintech products and services.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, user acceptance, exploratory, API, and integration testing.
- Validate payment workflows, transaction processing, settlements, reconciliation, and financial reporting systems.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Compliance teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide risk assessments and quality recommendations before releases.
- Support quality assurance controls for PCI-DSS and secure handling of sensitive input fields.
- Ensure consent flows and data collection interfaces comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of fintech experience.
- Strong manual and automated testing skills, including tools such as Selenium, Postman, and Cypress.
- Understanding of Agile QA practices and risk-based testing.
- Strong attention to detail, defect-analysis, documentation, and customer-centric skills.
