Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable integrations for various infrastructure components.
- Create middleware components and libraries for observability solutions.
- Represent Grafana Labs in open source forums and events when necessary.
- Collaborate with product teams to develop features aligned with customer needs.
- Lead the technical direction and vision of the team.
- Work with other departments to deliver a holistic product experience.
- Take ownership of the services by deploying well-tested clean code.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond your team's scope.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with at least one major programming language.
- Experience operating high-scale production systems on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability tooling like Grafana.
- Strong understanding of time-series data and observability system optimizations.
- Experience in a hands-on technical leadership role.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and performant software.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
