Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of the intelligence layer, including computer vision pipelines and coordinated machine learning model systems.
- Apply computer vision models, large language models, and AI systems to construction blueprint analysis and cost-estimation problems.
- Take AI systems from initial prototypes through production-ready deployments.
- Iterate on prototypes using direct feedback from users.
- Contribute to broader early-stage product-building work as needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on applied computer vision and machine learning experience, including Python and deep learning frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to take an AI system from zero to one and deploy it in production.
- Background in a strong engineering or research environment, such as autonomous systems, robotics, or applied AI.
- Ability to work across the full range of early-stage product-building responsibilities.
- Construction or social-impact experience, or prior experience building something users adopted or paid for, is preferred.
Benefits
- Base salary of $120,000 to $180,000 USD annually and expected equity participation at the founding engineer level.
- Full-time, on-site work in San Francisco, California; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
