Base Salary
$40k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design tests for ground and space communication systems individually and collaboratively.
- Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and related test and measurement equipment.
- Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Automate test procedures using Python scripting.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to implement tests and validate results.
- Support test planning by mapping requirements to test procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Analyze, design, and implement automated scripts within complex systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a STEM degree.
- At least one semester of object-oriented development experience.
- Zero to one or more years of laboratory experience.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
- Experience with version control tools such as GitLab.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Preferred: at least one year of Python development experience.
- Preferred: experience with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
- Preferred: experience with Python NumPy and Matplotlib libraries for data analysis.
