Responsibilities
- Lead technical account strategies and execution plans for prioritized customer use cases from post-technical win through production.
- Own technical delivery across onboarding, enablement, adoption, go-live, and consumption for complex customer accounts.
- Act as the first technical contact for production and go-live issues, escalating to specialized experts when needed.
- Coordinate Databricks sales, field engineering, shared services, user education, onboarding, technical services, support, professional services, product, and engineering teams.
- Create strategic roadmaps and execution plans covering use-case delivery, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, tuning and optimization, and executive governance.
- Navigate product and engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrades.
- Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case progression.
- Build executive relationships, lead customer stakeholders, and drive growth across assigned customers and use cases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in data and AI.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
- Experience attributing business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
- Experience managing technical programs or projects, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
- Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory; business-level English proficiency is preferred.
