Responsibilities
- Design scalable Databricks-based data and analytics solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance and hands-on technical leadership.
- Support production deployments, performance optimization, and platform scalability.
- Advise delivery teams on cloud, DevOps, MLOps, security, and data governance best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of consulting experience, including 7+ years in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Experience delivering at least 6 to 8+ Databricks projects with hands-on development experience.
- Completed Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification and required classes.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Spark runtime internals, distributed computing, and Python.
- Working knowledge of at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP, with deep expertise in at least one.
- Current knowledge of Databricks products and platform features, plus experience with performance and scalability optimization.
- Familiarity with production deployment practices and working knowledge of MLOps.
- Preferred qualifications include additional Databricks certifications, generative AI knowledge, ETL/ELT design, big data and lakehouse architecture, streaming architectures, security and data governance, DevOps tools, and Delta Lake.
