Responsibilities

  • Conduct security reviews for AI/ML products, technologies, and services.
  • Design secure architectures and implementations for AI/ML systems.
  • Apply secure development lifecycle practices, including threat modeling and security testing.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple teams to maintain a high security standard.
  • Lead penetration testing engagements and develop new testing methods and exploits.
  • Create security guidance, documentation, training, and outreach for development teams.
  • Develop security tools, automation, and metrics that improve security outcomes.
  • Lead security projects with end-to-end ownership, including reviews, tool development, and new security practices.
  • Support mentoring, team building, and recruiting activities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks with command-line tools.
  • At least 5 years of experience identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
  • At least 5 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages.
  • Experience identifying industry-based security vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques.
  • Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
  • Preferred experience with threat modeling or other risk-identification techniques.
  • Preferred experience with security for service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services.
  • Preferred PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or a related field, or SSCP certification with 4+ years of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
