Base Salary
$95k - $143k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate advanced AI/ML algorithms.
- Design and implement reinforcement learning solutions for decision-making, autonomy, planning, optimization, and control.
- Apply deep learning, computer vision, foundation models, generative AI, and multimodal learning to mission-relevant problems.
- Develop data-processing, model-training, inference, and evaluation pipelines.
- Design experiments evaluating AI/ML performance, robustness, generalization, and failure modes.
- Advance AI/ML models and transition successful capabilities to customers.
- Contribute to research initiatives and proposals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time for customer meetings and technical collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related STEM major.
- At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or related work.
- Demonstrated ability in AI/ML statistical analysis, data science, and modeling.
- Proven Python programming experience and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Working knowledge of reinforcement learning concepts and algorithms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in data science or computer vision, 5+ years developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML models, a strong publication record at conferences such as CVPR or NeurIPS, experience deploying and optimizing models for cloud, HPC, and edge-computing environments, and experience developing simulation-based AI/ML solutions.
